ENGINEERING PROJECTS
SAE Baja 2015
Participated in SAE Baja 2015 competition to design and build an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Baja SAE challenges engineering students to design and build an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain and in some competitions, water. As in real work situations, we worked together as a team to discover and resolve technical challenges in design, test, and manufacturing, as well as business issues

SAE Go kart 2014
The aim of the competition was to design, build and manufacture a racing go kart from scratch. Our team members did a market research for the desired parts of go-kart. Including the bamboo market of Bangalore, we also visited the Paul’s kart and other places for assistance. We contacted numerous auto part dealers throughout India for parts. Then keeping the available parts in mind the design team started their work to achieve best design possible. Solid edge ST3 was used for designing and ANSYS 13 for finite element analysis (FEA). Specification of the rulebook was our primary concern.
